Introducing Directory Console: Your Directory Control Center 🎛️
Directory Console™ is a new home for OneDirectory admins to configure and monitor their directory, all from one place. Manage settings, fields & org structure, members & roles, data sources & filtering rules, and keep an eye on directory health.
What’s inside v1:
- ✅ Profile Completeness: Track coverage across key profile fields and quickly spot where Microsoft 365 data is missing.
- 🧩 Fields & Structure Coverage: See coverage for every synced field, plus which fields are synced from Microsoft 365 vs stored in OneDirectory.
- 📸 Directory Snapshot: A quick overview of accounts, visibility settings, and org entities (offices, departments, and custom org units).
- 🔄 Sync Status: Monitor your hourly sync, see when we last polled for changes and when updates were imported (also available in Data Sources).
This is just the start, Directory Console is launching in v1, with more features coming soon 🚀
Hourly Incremental Sync from Microsoft 365 🎉
Until now, OneDirectory synced with Microsoft 365 twice a day (about every 12 hours). It now runs hourly and incrementally, pulling in only what’s changed.
What this means: updates in Microsoft 365, like profile details, reporting lines, and other key fields, will show up in OneDirectory within the hour.
A small set of fields (including photo, birthday, and aboutMe) doesn't support change tracking, so they refresh once per day (every 24 hours). If any tracked field changes occur in the meantime, those fields will also be updated as part of the hourly sync.
