Easily Add Assistants to Employee Profiles 🎉
You can now clearly show who supports whom by adding Assistants directly to employee profiles in OneDirectory.
Here's how to enable the Assistant field:
- Go to Settings → Fields
- Under Connections, click Assistant
- Toggle the field to Enabled
- Select who can edit (Directory Editors or Employees)
- Click Save
Once enabled, simply switch to edit mode on any profile. You'll find the Assistant field in the Connections pane on the right, making it easy to add or remove assistants instantly.
Try it out and streamline your team visibility. 😊
Assistants Are Now Visible on Your Org Chart 🔍
Following our recent release of the Assistant field on profiles, we're excited to announce that assistants now also appear directly on your org chart.
This update makes it easy for everyone to clearly see who’s supporting whom, whether you’re viewing individual profiles or browsing your org chart.
Clicking an assistant in the org chart instantly opens their profile, without ever losing your spot.

Speed Boost ⚡️ We've improved OneDirectory's performance with several behind-the-scenes optimizations, making your experience faster and smoother than ever.
New Collapse Button 🔽 Added a Collapse button to the contact column in list view, allowing you to quickly toggle expanded contact information.
Manager Field Enhancements 👨💼 The Manager field is now visible in list view, and you can group and sort search results by Manager—making it easier to visualize your team structure.
Simplified Setup Assistant 🤖 Streamlined the Setup Assistant by removing less relevant onboarding steps, improving step descriptions, and reorganizing the customization process to help you get started faster.
State Field Display Fix 📍 Resolved an issue where the State field wasn't displaying correctly in profile addresses. Now addresses show clearly, e.g., "Atlanta, GA," when the State field is enabled.
Organizational Structure Updates 🏦 Updated the "Organizational Units" heading in field settings to "Organizational Structure," paving the way for exciting upcoming features.
